Different Stages of Film Production

Filmmaking is not as easy as shooting and showing your movie, it follows a certain process to come up with product with quality. This cycle revolves around five stages making it an orderly process that somehow provides structure that typically involves hundreds of people to get the final result.
Hence the movie you watch is made after crossing various stages one such work is done by Creative Agency In Chandigarh who plays an important role in Film Making.

The five stages involved in creating a film are-

•    Development- It is the first step during which the idea of creation is born. Once an idea for a story is created, a treatment for it is produced. It includes 25 to 30 pages description of the story, the characters and the mood.

•    Pre-Production- All the planning for the project takes place here. In this cast & crew are hired and all the locations, props, cast members, costumes, special effects and visual effects are identified. The cast and crew are also recruited in this stage which includes director, the casting director, the location manager, the production manager, the director of photography, the sound designer, the art director, the music composer, the choreographer and of course, the actors. Once everything is assembled, the movie is now ready to be made.

•    Production- It is the third step during which all the scenes planned are carried out in different locations. More crew is recruited at this stage.

•    Post Production- Movie is edited by the editor. The images, sound, scenes are edited & polished to give final touch up to the film.

•    Distribution- This is the final step in which the movie is promoted through various mediums like press interviews, internet, social media platforms etc. The movie is then finally released in theatres, DVDs and distributed by film distributers.

So it is not so easy task you need to work hard to do it in a right way. Film Making is little more than you think. So bring out your ideas and break all the taboos and produce something which is worthwhile.
